John Lennon's Death

On December 8th, 1980 happened one of the most important events in the history of the music.
In New York, outside of John Lennon flat, a group of fans were waiting for their idol, in his way to the recording studio.
When he went out, one of the fan, Mark Champman, asked him to sign a record, John agreed and then got into his car to go to the recording studio. Later Champman was still waiting out of the flat, Lennon to come back, sitting in a bench of the square in front of Lennon’s flat. When Lennon came back, Champman called him and then shot him five times, killing him.
Champman didn’t run away, he waited sitting in a bench, reading a book, when the police arrived.
30 years have passed since this tragedy, John Lennon’s death, one of the most important musicians of the history.
